Boxer Rescue L.A. (Orange County) is part of Boxer Rescue L.A., and operates in the Orange County area. Dogs located in Orange County stay in foster homes in Orange County while they await permanent homes. They are typically shown each Saturday at the PETCO in either Lake Forest or Costa Mesa. Boxer Rescue L.A. has more than 80 dogs available at our Sun Valley kennel. Available Dogs
We have a wonderful senior pair available for adoption. 
Julia and Mack are definitely in love. This wonderful pair loves to go for walks, but like most seniors they also enjoy quiet time and getting lots of love. They spent time in a BRLA volunteer’s home and both dogs were gentle and respectful with the volunteer’s young son. Julia can be somewhat selective with dogs other than Mack, but when you have a built in best friend you really don’t need much else in the way of canine companionship.
These two love birds are looking for a warm, loving home where they can enjoy the final chapter of their lives. Julia and Mack are currently in foster in Orange County, and you can meet them by private appointment. Featured L.A. Dog: Jimmy!
Each month the O.C. team features one of the dogs at our L.A. kennel. This month, it's a handsome boy named Jimmy.
Jimmy came to BRLA in February of 2010. After a brief stay in a foster home, he was adopted and went to what was supposed to be his forever home. Unfortunately, he went to a home with two cats. When Jimmy and the cats didn’t hit it off, Jimmy was returned to BRLA a few months later and is now staying at BRLA's Sun Valley Kennel. When Jimmy first came to BRLA he was reactive towards other dogs. BRLA trainers went right to work and while he’s much better now, Jimmy will probably never be dog park material. Don’t get us wrong, Jimmy’s definitely a fun, people-loving lug of a guy, but he’d do best in a home where he’ll be the only pet. He's sweet, energetic, and eager to please.
